I am happy to announce that male power has utilised his indescribable power to come up with a new type of compass!
This happened when Sam asked for the east direction in order to set up the telescope....male power quickly did a mental calculation involving the phases of Venus and found out where is east...
Although it was evening, and Sam would have had a tough time getting anything on the the newly discovered east due to the presence of the sun near the horizon, male power believes his method is correct and that the centuries old belief that sun always sets in the east is a misconception...he is due to present his results in the next YAM.....
Note: Mao is of the opinion that the fact that sun rises in the east is also questionable. According to quantum mechanics, what cannot be observed is not real, and Mao has not yet been able to observe the above-mentioned phenomenon.

ReplyDeleteI checked wikipedia...they say sun sets in the west..since nobody has objected to the above statement, I presume that the issue is not settled yet....or maybe sun does really set in the east at IUCAA!!
